Cooks

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Prepare and cook special meals as instructed by dietitian or chef, Supervise kitchen helpers, Oversee subordinate personnel in preparation, cooking and handling of food, May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

Chefs

Plan and direct food preparation and Cooking activities and prepare and cook meals and specialty foods.

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.

Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks.

Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff.

Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs.

Kitchen Helpers and Related Occupations

Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances.

Wash and peel vegetables and fruit.

Prepare food such as sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, milkshakes and ice cream dishes.

Portion and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food.

Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used.

Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances.

Remove trash and clear kitchen garbage containers

And perform various other activities to assist workers who prepare or serve food and beverages.

Executive Chef

Hotel Management graduates with atleast five to seven years experience in production. He should be able to maintain discipline and get work done from his team. He should be experienced in Conti, Chinese and Indian cuisines. Preference for people who have worked under pressure.

Executive Housekeeper

Candidates should have atleast ten years experience in the housekeeping department out of which last two years should be as EHK or holding number 2 position in the department. He/She should be working in a hotel of repute. Incumbents should have good knowledge of budgetting, laundry and other housekeeping variables.

RESTAURANT MANAGER

- Give expert advice to the sites thru the operation manger to get best results in the upkeep of the property.

- Take initiative in finding out the best services, equipment and other material and giving input to the management.

- To initiate best practices and maintain best standards.

- Consolidation of site MIS (operational) on monthly basis and all other relevant reports.

- Oversees and directs all aspects of all housekeeping operations including administrative offices, public areas and back areas in the highest standards of upkeep (perfection), hygiene and cleanliness.

- Be available on call for any assistance required to the staff.

- Organize / conduct / develop training programs for housekeeping staff

- Execute and supervise the jobs comes from sr managers and top managements and give feedback accordingly.
